The Letcher County Water and Sewer District (District) is now accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. The District is a rapidly expanding utility providing water and wastewater service to rural Letcher County.

Position requirements include but may not be limited to the following; the ability to effectively communicate with residents of the community, properly plan for future system expansion, secure funding for expansion, knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding the expenditure of funds for construction projects, ensure financial solvency through proper budgeting and financial management, maintain and expand as needed a professional staff of employees, and other duties involved in the day to day operation of the District.
